Manage Access

Control who can access your shared dashboards.

View the Whitelist

  1. Go to seawise.ioarrow-up-right and sign in

  2. Navigate to Dashboards

  3. Click on the shared dashboard

  4. Open Sharing Settings

You'll see a list of all email addresses that have access.

Add Someone

  1. Open the dashboard's sharing settings

  2. Click Add Email

  3. Enter their email address

They can access the dashboard immediately after signing in.

Remove Someone

  1. Open the dashboard's sharing settings

  2. Find the email address

  3. Click Remove

Their access is revoked immediately. Any active sessions they have for services in that dashboard are ended.

Disable Sharing Entirely

Toggle sharing off on the dashboard. This blocks all access — no one on the whitelist can reach the dashboard.

Turning sharing back on restores access to everyone still on the whitelist. You don't need to re-add anyone.

Limits

  • Up to 100 email addresses per dashboard whitelist

Troubleshooting Access

"They can't log in"

  • Verify the email in the whitelist matches exactly (it's case-insensitive)

  • Make sure they have a SeaWise account with that email

  • Ask them to check spam for the login email

"They see a 403 error"

Their session may have expired. Ask them to:

  1. Clear cookies for seawise.io

  2. Visit the dashboard link again

  3. Sign in when prompted

"They see a 502 error"

This is a connection issue, not an access issue. Check that your server is online and the service is running.
